I have just recently returned from my "One Fish, Two Fish" trip and I felt it was only
appropriate that I share with you my experience.
I knew even before I came to Australia that I was going to take this trip, as my best
friend had travelled with you last semester and only had the best things to say about
it. Trusting her, I knew I would have the time of my life. However, I could never
have imagined the magnitude of fun that I would experience!
The trip was so well organized, including all of the adventures I had hoped to
experience in Australia. I suppose you could call this the "ing" trip because I
went scuba diving, snorkelling, bungy jumping, sky diving, partying, drinking,
sun bathing, etc. and loved every second of everything I did.
The sights I saw were incredible, although the people were what made the trip.
Your people, that is, are what made this trip so memorable. The main reason I
am writing was to inform you that you should be so proud of Dave and Barb, our
trip leaders. Their competence and responsibility, meshed with their sense of
adventure, enthusiasm, and pure zest for life, made for the ultimate "extreme" pair.
On a personal note, I was celebrating Passover and had some dietary restrictions.
They made it their own personal mission to make sure that I, and those others
who were observing, were well accommodated and had plenty to eat. For that,
I am eternally grateful.
On the last night of the trip, I was designated by my group to give a final
speech thanking Dave and Barb. I said something that I truly believe - "at
the end of the experience, the memory of the sights and places we saw may fade,
but the people are who we will for sure remember." Dave and Barb are two of the
most memorable people I have ever encountered and feel privileged to not only have
been led by them for the trip, but to now be able to count them amongst my friends.
Thank you, again, for all that you did to arrange this fabulous vacation. I will
never forget the time that I had, and will never forget the people who made it
possible. To all my friends coming to Australia, I will tell them there is only one
way to go - the Extreme way! I hope you enjoyed your time as well, and look forward
to perhaps travelling with Extreme Adventures again in the future.
